Jen McKinney is an contemporary landscape painter with a deep love for the landscapes of the American South. Working in a variety of mediums, including ink, watercolors, soft pastels, and acrylics, Jen explores themes of nature, exploration, and Southern culture in her work. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Jen graduated from Union University in 2007 with a B.A. in Ethics and a minor in Art and began travelling the world with her husband, the historian. She currently resides in Alabama with her beloved husband and children. When not in her studio, she can be found reading poetry and cookbooks with a mug of hot tea in hand or exploring the wild outdoors with her family. Jen's artwork was selected for the 100 Square exhibition by The Gallery at 3 Square Art in Fort Collins, Colorado and purchased for various private collections.
